- Device drivers, in-kernel programming
- Core networking: QoS, firewall, routing, bridging
- Applied cryptography, cryptographic protocols
- Scalable, concurrent, enterprise-ready system design
- User interaction design, web technologies, RESTful APIs
- Distributed system design, databases (SQL, noSQL)
- Massively scalable cloud architecture design and implementation
- Big data analytics
